SWPBSF

Tongala Primary School adopts the School Wide Positive Behaviour School Framework (SWPBSF).

This framework is underpinned by our values of Respectful, Responsible and Resilient. Our school mascot, Ronny from Tonny, a turtle, helps us to learn about these values inside and outside of the school environment.

Our SWPBSF whole school positive behaviour rewards of Ronny tokens, allows students to earn tokens for displaying our 3 values. On a weekly basis, our students are able to bank or save their tokens at Ronny’s Bank to earn themselves a reward or an experience.

Our whole school behaviour matrix outlines expected behaviour in and around our school, which are based on our values. This is a powerful teaching tool and provides a common language when dealing with any issues that arise.

Incident reporting and a multidisciplinary team keep track of individual students, and assists in developing plans for them into the future.
